Dear Resident,
Although burglary rates in Trafford remain low compared to other areas of
Greater Manchester there have been three break-ins in the Gorse Hill area
recently. These have happened within the last week and have occurred close
to the Man United stadium. Houses on Railway Road, Ravenswood Road and
Tenby Avenue have been targeted for cash and jewellery. GMP would like to
remind you of the following advice:
• Close and lock all doors and windows – Don’t give a burglar an access
point.
• Remove keys from locks on the inside of a door – An offender could
smash a window to retrieve these.
• Avoid keeping large amounts of cash in your house.
• Avoid leaving tools lying around in the back garden – These could be
used to force entry into your property.
If you have any information regarding crime in your area then please feel
free to contact myself:
Email – 65413@gmp.police.uk
Phone – 0161 856 7655
Mobile – 07707 636 946
Please forward this onto anyone who would benefit from this message.
Many thanks,
Chris Eastwood – PCSO 65413
