Labour wants a Budget that makes a priority of Jobs and Growth - Ed Miliband

Ed Miliband

Ed Miliband MP, Leader of the Labour Party, commenting on the Budget while on a visit meeting staff and shoppers at Morrisons, Camden today, said:

"The Government promised change but things are getting worse with a million young people now out of work and a cost of living crisis for families across Britain.

Labour wants a Budget that makes a priority of jobs, growth and using every single penny of scarce resources to help hard-pressed families make ends meet.

Instead, this Government's priority appears to be cutting tax for people earning £150,000 a year.

That is the wrong priority and shows how out of touch the Tories are."
