Cycling Terms Explained

Cycling Terms Explained
Oh f__k we hit a tree

Cycle path:

a path which according to the Highway Code you can use
..... and according to non-cycling motorists you must use,
..... on pain of, well, something or other. Irritating them probably.

Unlikely to be fit for purpose.

Will probably feature broken glass and irate pedestrians who tell you it isn’t a cycle path, despite the prominent blue signs saying it is a cycle path....

Ontologically they may have a point as despite the signage, it is unlikely to be a path you want to cycle on and it’s still less likely it will end somewhere you want to cycle to.
